Babes Babes Babes!!

Today Cohen is 3 months old!! He can roll over from back to tummy effortlessly, is constantly trying to sit up when he is lying flat, adores his big sister  and is sooo happy and such a talker! He is sooooo incredibly wonderful and I can't believe that he is already 3 months its crazy!

Mina girl has been extra ridiculous lately. She has literally spent the last 3 days in a bathing suit. She puts jammies on at bed time and then as soon as she wakes up wants to put her swimsuit back on.  The reason for all this is on sunday grammie bought mia a swimming pool but the weather was so crappy that she couldn't use it outside.  I feel like all it has done since then is rain so the pool has been inside the house still and she just has been having sooo much fun sitting in an empty pool hahah. She has also been into dressing herself putting on random stuff including her choice of hair accessories. My mom got her this fuzzy white hat around christmas time that she has been wearing everywhere saying that she's a poodle, hahaha shes awesome!

I also need to talk about the fact that my sister in law Kelci is in labor as we speak, she has been in labor since 10:30 last night! She is having a boy and her and Dave are naming him Harlo! This is going to be Zac and I's very first nephew!!! We are the only ones in the family who aren't aunts or uncles yet!! I seriously can not wait! I will post pictures of him once he arrives but fingers crossed that it's soon because I can not wait to meet him! Cohen and him will be exactly 3 months apart so obviously will be best friends!

     So this past weekend was Pioneer Day here in utah...basically its the states independence day. SO friday we went to the Handcart days parade in bountiful (who doesn't love a good parade) with most of Zacs family and then had some pulled pork sandys and did some fireworks overall a pretty fun day. Saturday I think Zac was in cleaning hell because I told him if he wanted to golf later that afternoon he had to help me clean the house and the entire thing had to be clean. We got it done tho so he got to golf with the boys (Tai, Dave, and Kendall). When the got back we all went out to eat, all of Zacs side of the fam, at Lorenas and got some mexican! I love Lorenas...then we had everyone over to our place and went down to the new park and set off some big fireworks. Mia got her very first sparkler but kept calling it her "surprise firework on a stick" she LOVED it. Sundayyyyyy was a BIG day. I got a call from Kelc and Dave asking me if they could please please buy Mia a fish because they really really wanted to hahah so of course I said yes. Later that day we went over to their house where she was surprised by Molly, her new pet fish. She helped dave set up Molly's new home and put in little pink pebbles and a little coral reef house for her. Mia had become obsessed with Molly. She is always checking on her and telling me that Molly misses her so she has to go say hi....hahah it has really been sooo fun to watch her take care of this little black fish.

I need to talk about one more thing. So being a mom you always carry around sooooo much CRAP with you. I have formed this slight obsessions with what I like to refer to as "the rolls royce of diaper dags". Petunia Pickle Bottom really has the cutest diaper bags with changing pads that roll out etc. They are wonderful. I love them soooo much that when I found out my sister in law was pregnant for the first time I decided we had to get her one as a gift. SO I currently have a boxy backpack style one that you can carry with one strap or on your back which is GREAT for travel and I love it. I also have a Diaper clutch which is actually much bigger than a normal clutch but has enough room to hold the fold out changing pad and wipes and a few other small things. BUT what I really want is the "Wistful Weekender" Bag in  Deco Dandelion.

 It is larger and will be oh so wonderful for all the traveling that I do with my kiddos back and forth to Massachusetts to see my family! The one issue here is these bags are rather pricey! So first person to convince my husband that this is something that I absolutely have to have and gets him to buy it for me WINS. The prize is yet to be determined but it would be something really good like a high five or homemade fudge :)

Just wanted to share some pics of zachary post 1/2 marathon.... these were taken at 12:30 am ish think he looks tired?!? he was covered in glow sticks but ditched them half way...i wish you could see the shirt we made him but the flash prevented the glow in the dark letters from showing up...BOO

BLOG WHAT!?!?

So I know I have tried to keep a family blog like three other times but this time I promise for real for real I am going to do this. Things have been pretty crazy around here lately and just trying to adjust to life with another little body added to the family. Honestly it has been pretty easy...some how our family got reallllly blessed with 2 amazing little kids who are just sooo super easy and amazing! 


Mina girl is getting so big and is a total ham. This past friday she had the opportunity to do a little modeling. OK soooo I just want to go on the record in saying that my child LOVES to be in front of the camera. In no way shape or form did I force her to do this, she LOVES to be the center of attention and is totally into having her picture taken. So yea the company she got to do some work for is called Persnickety Clothing. If you have a little girl or a niece or just some little angel that you think could use some cute new clothes then ohhhh my gosh you have to check out their site.... www.Persnicketyclothing.com I promise you that you will not regret it. I so so so so so so so so so wish that I could share some pics that were snapped with my phone with everyone of some of the amazing things that she got to wear but I can't until the spring 2012 line is released in january....but OH just you wait! so this shoot was held at this amazing amazing garden in Lindon, UT that I had never heard of or been to but hollllllly cow it was incredible. The amazing ladies from Persnickety had thought of everything! They had sooo many amazing props and goodies to add to these wonderfully adorable and creative little outfits. WOW seriously was blown away by the adorableness that happened that day. By the end of the day Mia had had such an awesome time and kept talking about the dress up party with all the little girls with the cake. YUP. GOOD DAY. 


Cohen is growing every single time I blink my eyes. Seriously he seems like he grows soooooo fast! He will be 3 months in about 2 weeks and I already can't even remember how we did life without his adorable little self in it! He is already starting to roll over which really scares the crap out of me because I'm not ready for him to start being so grown up. He hates just lying there and is always trying to sit up with his tiny strong tummy muscles :) He is such a happy little dude and we are all loving every single second that we have to spend with him!


Zachary has been running "so so fast" as mina girl would say. This last friday he ran his very first half marathon. It was the Legacy midnight run. The whole ordeal was pretty wild...It didn't start until 10 pm and the entire thing was ran in the pitch dark on the Legacy parkway trail behind our house. So the whole point behind this run is to try to finish by midnight. Zachary did really well and ran it in about 2 hrs and 20 mins due to some mile ten stomach issues where he then had to slow down quite a bit (he was pretty bummed about that). The coolest part about this run was that everyone covers their entire body in glow sticks etc. We made him a glow in the dark t shirt and put glow in the dark paint on his kicks. It looked pretty awesome with the mass of glowing people running down the trail. So after all that now Zachary is totally hooked. He has started training for a full marathon in just 9 weeks from now. I personally think hes crazy but am pretty proud of all the hard work and training he has been putting into all this.


I am just loving being a mom of 2 kids. I literally get to spend every single day doing what I love the most in the whole world, being a mom to my amazing children. I love to watch Mia and Cohen interact with each other. He just thinks she is soooo amazing and stares at her and smiles all day long. I am trying to get back down to my post baby weight...let me just say how much I hate working out. It's disgusting. SO to make it more fun I have been dancing on our kinect with the dance central game and I'm just going to put it out there, I'm kind of really good at it. Just saying.
